We’re back with an update for the World Maps DLC. Based on your feedback, we’ve added empty map variants for each map in the DLC. These versions allow you to start from scratch, building your republic on untouched landscapes. We’ve also resolved a few issues and added a new landmark to the Yugoslavia map.

• Blank Map Variants: All 10 maps in the DLC now include blank versions. These maps feature only the natural terrain, giving players complete freedom to plan and build without existing infrastructure.

• Improved DLC Map Visibility: DLC maps are now easier to locate in the menu, even if they haven’t been purchased.
  
• Railway Tutorial Objective: Resolved an issue with the railway tutorial objective related to Rail CO.

• New Landmark: The Mostar Bridge has been added to the Yugoslavia map.

After a years of hard work in Early Access, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic finally saw its full release just a few months ago. It’s been such a pleasure to see our players dive headlong into the game and share so many kind words about their experiences.

We’re committed to support of Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, with the goal of bringing you an even more satisfying gameplay experience. To that end, we’ve released 8 updates in the last year – with the biggest being our 1.0 Update, which added new buildings & vehicles, revamped the education system, and made significant graphical improvements to key buildings. We also released the Biomes DLC alongside our 1.0 Update, which allows you to establish a glorious Soviet nation in three new biomes: the scorching desert, the unforgiving tundra, and the lush tropics.

Our most recent updates have been largely focused on fixing bugs and implementing popular community feedback, such as adding random maps to the Biomes DLC.

We’re proud of these improvements, but we’re even more proud of the community that has developed around our game. You all have been an integral part of the development process, and it’s been a pleasure to collaborate with all of you on making Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic the best it can be. We're excited to renew our commitment to more regular updates. A long wait for news, especially just a few map announcements, might not satisfy your enthusiasm. Although it's challenging to share compelling updates when much of our work revolves around bug fixes, those active on our Steam forum are well aware of our dedication. We're approaching 4.000 bug and support threads, with about 50 new ones each month.
