No NextUnit shortcut available in a mod
Hi,

I created new mod and changed just some basic stuff related to factions. For some reason the is no shortcut for NextUnit available. The default (spacebar) doesn't work in a game and the settings window doesn't show it (so no possibility to define).

What's interesting is that NextUnit lines in mod.ag file are exactly the same as in the orginal game.

Any clues?

Hi Mogilan,

I was having the same problem in the mod I'm working on/playing right now.
Did you perhaps copy the entire original mod.ag like I did?
I just wanted to change the technologies tag so I deleted all other tags and the next unit shorcut started working fine again.(Perhaps it was just coincidence but you could give it a try)
Remember for this to work you need to extend the original/prototype mod by naming your mod folder like this:
ancient_rome-yourmod

Hello mogilan,
yes that is really weird. When you start the original mod, is it there or it is also gone?

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Yes! This is what I did. I copied entire mod.ag from the original mod and just did some minor changes there (not related to shortcuts, of course).

I really recommend to not do this. Not only you lose the backwards compatibility (basically you will need to always update everything with every ancient_rome change in your mod) but you will also distribute (aka download) all the assets separately.
