No longer Matrix/Slitherine?
I also have a copy attached to my account at Slitherine, will this impact to download and use it if I should choose to use that or is it disabled now that it seems to have reverted to the developer?

You should be able to play the already purchased game from Slitherine but you might rather ask Slitherine directly. I don't want to answer on their behalf.

Yes, Slitherine version will not get anymore updates. If you have any technical difficulties, I am happy to assist no matter where you bought the game.

Matrix/Slitherine provided me a Steam key for this title. Not sure if that is still the case though if you didn't get one when you purchased it there.

As far as I remember this is how it is/was. As long as you have the Steam key somewhere, you can activate the game on Steam and get the latest updated version.
