This era is popular for having different start dates. There are more Romance of the Three Kingdom fans that play this game than there are Total War fans that play it.

DLCs (particularly the first two) were completely disasters that harmed the brand + the massive changes to the engine to support all the new features apparently led to a spaghetti code situation with CA thinking it would be better to simply start over with 3K 2

they should just update generic portraits

IMO they should have enabled mods that allow full overhaul of portaits and chrachter models.

I know Dynasty warriors Fans would have love to see their favorite heroes and waifus fighting in their DW models and potraits in TW 3K.

We have portait mods ? sure but not enough customization.

Furthermore AI is rather lackluster unless you spoonfeed the other 2 Big 3 Never expand to their respective territories.

as Cao Cao i had to conquer everyone down in Yang Province to Sun clan. Conquer the entire Jingzhou including the nanman tribes give it to Liu Biao . Sichuan Province give it all to Liu Zhang. only to have liu bei condefederate both with their approphite capitals. If you leave them to their own devices they gonna get knocked out by nearby yellow turban or Han forces

Because no one explain how mods right the game for unlock better improvments, regions, buffs ai clever ect... now i found the solution for coop multy with mods.
