Me too. Every save game. Whenever he wants to play a video.
However, I may have found a fix... My is freezing and crashing at the same point you mention, Yellow Turban's turn, music skips then game crashes.
Potential Fix (haven't tested this thoroughly):
Game Settings: Turn AI Players Moves Off - top setting
Then, also turn off everything in the options after clicking "end turn". Meaning click that options button and quickly turn everything that shows their movement off.
I was just trying to get through that end turn screen as fast as possible, and it seemed to have worked. I'm assuming they'll fix this soon, I hope at least, but until then you'll just have to keep an eye on enemy movements after the end turn skip.
Good luck.
War Pilgrim and The_Leafy_Bug's descriptions are exactly correct. As the last faction's turn ends at the end of turn screen, the music skips and the game crashes to the desktop without any kind of error message.
I tried The_Leafy_Bug's suggestions to change the settings in the options menu, but it didn't solve my problem. I'm wondering if anyone else has run into this error recently and/or has a solution.
