Blush Blush is a clicker-style dating sim that technically functions, but it takes the phrase "slow burn" to truly punishing extremes—especially if you’re playing free-to-play. With a couple of mechanics (like jobs, hobbies, and gifts) that inch you forward at a snail’s pace, it’s less of a love story and more of a grindfest disguised in pastel.

I started this game years ago out of curiosity, and I won’t lie—I stuck with it for the nostalgia and the art. But after four years of grinding as a F2P player, I barely reached the last base-game boy. The moment I caved, a year ago, and threw in a few bucks, bam—Lover levels across the board. Which sounds great until you realize that even with every available boost, completing all routes 100% is still practically impossible. And honestly? There's nothing compelling past Lover+1. You’re working endlessly for a couple of repeated lines (voiced if you pay again, of course), and it’s just not worth it.

Yes, the art is nice. Yes, the boys are cute. But the content-to-effort ratio is brutal, and the monetization feels more exploitative than rewarding. There are so many otome games out there that respect your time and money far more than this one. So unless you're looking to spend hundreds of days for a sentence and a wink, you're better off finding entertainment somewhere else.
