Calling All Beta Testers!
We're excited to offer a development branch of Blush Blush! The development branch will feature the latest changes, balance, optimizations, and new content. However, since this is a beta branch we cannot guarantee complete stability. Although we will try to release the highest caliber of content, a beta may have bugs and crash. If this trade-off sounds exciting to you, then we invite you to join us in testing the latest version of Blush Blush!

How to select the beta branch
Head over to your library and right click the Blush Blush game (usually in the list on the left). When you right click the game a drop-down menu should appear, with several options. Select 'Properties' from the drop-down menu.

Once the Properties window opens there will be a BETAS tab at the top. Select the BETAS tab. You must provide a password to unlock the beta branch. Enter 'blushblush1234' into the beta access code location, and Steam should unlock the beta branch. You can now select 'beta - Beta Build' from the BETAS tab.

Once you close the Properties window Steam will begin to update your client to the latest beta version of Blush Blush.

How to submit bugs
You can submit bugs to our discussion forum in the pinned discussion, or you can e-mail us at support@sadpandastudios.com We're also going to add a beta testing forum, which will also be a great place to share stories, bugs and news when new releases appear.

How to switch back to stable branch
If the beta build is crashing too often, or if you would like to return to the regular Steam release, no problem! Simply open the Properties window on Blush Blush (via the Library). Then, in the BETAS tab you can select 'NONE' to return to the normal branch.

Thanks so much for helping us test the latest version of Blush Blush!

Note: The save game file is shared between both the regular and beta versions of the game, allowing you to continue your game where you left off. If you are worried about losing your progress then you can take advantage of the 'Save Game' option on the More page to push your game to the cloud.

Trying it out. I like the new features. So far, no problems. Seems pretty stable on my computer.

I think you guys are a bit too generous with the diamonds. Even if it takes a long time to do the "endless stages" for the later guys, giving that much for free gives people less incentive to buy diamonds. Those amounts should be reserved for DLC characters like how Crush Crush did. Sticking to how much the original levels gave (1 dia each; 3 dia on the 10th) is fine. Or maybe the achievement payout indicators amounts are wrong (I just flipped through and each one says 3 dia)? Paying out 10 diamonds only if you reach the 20th stage seems fair to me.

Each guy can give 11 diamonds (not counting Endless Stages). There will be 12 free guys at least: 11 * 12 = 132 diamonds. A free player needs 175 diamonds for all the Permanent Speed Boosts which is the priority purchase over everything else. Although, currently it caps at x64, Crush Crush has it at x128. So if it does increase, that's a further +25 diamonds (for another x2) needed for 200 total. So doing the Endless Stages should give you enough to purchase them and still gild a few jobs.

Okay, I only took a cursory glance and came to the wrong conclusion that you got 3 diamonds for each stage. Looking at them again, I see it's actually for every +5 stages. So it won't be as easy for a player to gild everything as I feared.

Are Florist/Cryptominer/Fundraiser/Farmer jobs supposed to auto-unlock regardless of your Hobby levels? Cause I had all Hobbies at level 50 before coming into Beta and expected to only fit the requirements for Florist. If they auto-unlock even for new players who only recently started playing, that's a balance issue because they'd be earning more than they're supposed to at that point.

I had 66 Timeblocks. 36 were used to level all Hobbies, 20 for Politician, 9 for Pit Mechanic, 1 for Maid. These were all obtained free through achievements besides 5 which I got from the [Love At First Sight] starter bundle. The achievements from the four new jobs have given me +5 TB so far. So with 70 TBs, I'm running Pharmacist Teach (1 TB; level 10), Writer (2 TB; level 10), (7 TB), Florist (20 TB; level 7), Cryptominer (10 TB; level 7), Fundraiser (9 TB; level 7), and Farmer (20 TB; level 8). Gilded the 4 new jobs so I'm earning a little more than 5.5 billion per sec right now.

So even with the TB reduction on jobs after leveling them to certain points, it didn't completely remove the incentive to buy Time Blocks. You're still gonna have to wait a long time/have high Reset Boost to earn Quadrillions for Ichiban+ in addition to leveling Hobbies.

Hopefully you've calculated the guys' Endless Stage requirements for appropriate difficulty since they can be considered New Game+ and thus "tougher bosses". Like the later stages of the first four guys should take Trillions at least. After all, Anon was basically the "Wake Up Call Boss" with his Games costing a drastic amount (34.5 trillion) compared to Eli's final stage. At that point you had to grind a considerable amount of Reset Boost or spend money to pass that point cause the game was done giving you free samples so to speak.

All that's said and done, I'm enjoying the guys' Endless stage dialogue. It's nice that you're not done with them even after lifting the curse and that they're still a part of your daily life. It makes us keep coming back for more and refreshes our interest in these characters. Will there be new unique date spots on every 9/10th date like Masquerade? New selfie pics?

You won't lose progress, and quite possibly might gain some.

Tried out the beta, and I see nothing different from the normal game. Opened properties, correct code, relaunched, and nothing you promised is up. it even says "Blush Blush beta running".
This went live months ago. There's still a few differences, but a lot of the bugs have been worked out of the things they were trying and they moved them to the official build. At the moment, the only thing I think Beta has that the main game doesn't is the endless levels, but I could be wrong on that.

*sigh* I guess nobody can't please everybody. I thought SPS was doing great with unlocking all jobs, as it takes $20M for one pillow (I don't know about you, but in real life I can get one for a lot less). The more money rolling in, the better. I've resetted so much, I think we need something like this. Honestly, people these days are so hard to please.

You're absolutely right, it's impossible to please everybody. OP was just reporting what they thought was a bug or a balance issue. This was posted over half a year ago, and it was about expectations not being met. All jobs are unlocked by hobby level 44, and OP just didn't expect that. It wasn't a balance issue and still isn't, in my opinion.

Also, if you're complaining about something costing $20M, you're clearly not aware that $1 in Blush Blush currency is probably equivalent to $0.000001 or less in real life currency. The dollar sign is just easy to implement, it doesn't have any bearing to real life.

Is there anything left in Beta? I enabled it and nothing happened. I didn't see anything download and I don't see these "endless levels."
