Yeah the game doesn't play anything like HLD. Easiest comparison would be Titan souls + Enter the Gungeon/Nuclear Throne.

Unlike titan souls the game world is full of NPC's that you can interact with and learn the story through rather than being completely vague. The overworld in general is peaceful

oof same, reminded me a lot of HLD...

I suck at bullet hell in general and I sucked at Titan Souls.. but aye, maybe I'll learn and get better - still wishlisted, cause it looks lovely..

Thanks for wish listing! I'm not great at bullet hells either ironically enough so I added a 2x damage modifier and invincibility that can be toggled at any time for players that would rather experience the game/story without too much stress :)

Game looks great!! I'm hoping that you won't be able to unlock achievements if you have the 2x damage and invincibility modifiers on! And that you will add some hard ones!

I didn't play Titan Souls and don't know how it is in terms of exploration, so I would rather say Itta is Jotun + bullet hell lite. Like in Jotun, there are interesting to explore beautiful and atmospheric locations between bosses. But there are no non-boss enemies, and visual style is different. In terms of bullet hell, this game is one of the easier bullet hells out there. Also, visual style in the second location reminded me of Mandagon.
