Finally got through this one. This was my favorite game of 2021 and the combat still holds up today. If you are a fan of spectacle fighters like Astral Chain this is the game for you.

My main pros for the games is:
1. The Combat is fast, fun, and top notch, not overly difficult but still has a decent skill ceiling.
2. The interactions with the cast of characters is pretty good you will be sure to find a few you like to have in your party. That and brainpunk world they made was fun to explore and I'd want to see more.
3. Value, this game is always on sale and even down to $10 at some times so it's worth it.

My main cons:
1. Repetitive combat, I personally took a good year brake between playing both characters in this game and even then it was a little tedious. The different psychokinesis objects you can through add some much needed variety but I can see how some people would quit at around the 30 hour or so mark.
2. The whole game can seem like one giant hallway with enemies. Some variation in the environments is here but not enough for anything to stand out except the last level in the story. I say Astral Chain has more varied designs.
3. This is a personal one but there wasn't enough character customization. They give you a few outfits but most of them are just recolors and not a lot of variety except a couple DLC outfits.

All in all this is a great game for anime fans and people who love the action rpg genre. I enjoyed going through and finishing the DLC's and playing Kasane's story on very hard which brought some much needed challenge to the experience. Overall great game I'll definitely play a sequel if one is ever announced.

A história desse jogo é uma bagunça, querem colocar vários "assuntos sérios" nela e meio que nenhum é tratado com taaaaanta seriedade assim...e também tem viagem no tempo btw. Não me deu nenhuma vontade de jogar a campanha da Kasane.

A mecânica de bonds combinada com a história é um negócio absurdo e faz a dissonância ludonarrativa comer solta (estou falando de coisa tipo: "Eu sei que umas 2h atrás eu te embosquei e tentei te matar, mas bora nesse restaurante papear um pouco?").

O combate seria o ponto forte do jogo SE o combate contra humanos não fosse uma completa nojeira. Eles podem interromper suas ações o tempo todo, desviam de tudo que você nele (às vezes seus ataques vão ATRAVESSAR o inimigo) e você só pode causar dano no inimigo e interromper as ações deles quando o jogo deixa (e é bom aproveitar, porque eles não deixam por muito tempo).

Não vou terminar esse jogo porquê quero valorizar o meu tempo.

Nice graphics and decent combat however story not so good, side quests boring and not engaging.
Half of monsters are reskin of other and naming makes it even more confusing.
Not to mention bonding system which is, gated by chapters and takes quite a lot of time of just standing and giving gifts with animations and dialogues which you can't skip or speed up.
Wouldn't pay full price but $5 or $10 is more reasonable.
