ya not sure hot to fix this directly however a work around is to
> right click on the game
> Select Browse game files
> Select Squad ( The application ) not Squad launcher

This will launch the game. not sure why but when I re downloaded this game it downloaded the Public test version.. and if I go to the store page it shows me having to buy the game. but if you do what i said you can play the game as usual just sucks you have to do it every time
