How To Report A Bug
Hello Everyone,

This thread is here to help people experiencing bugs or issues in Warhammer: Chaosbane.
First of all, the first steps would be to check some preliminary points:

MINIMUM SPEC
In all instances, we would like to recommend that you please confirm your system meets the minimum specifications for this game. These are as follows:

Windows PC
  • Operating System: 64bits version of Windows® 7, Windows® 8, Windows® 10
  • Processor: Intel® Core i3 or AMD Phenom™ II X3
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 or AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 with 2 GB RAM
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 20 GB Available space
  • Sound Card: Windows Compatible Sound card

UPDATE YOUR GRAPHIC DRIVERS

Please check if your graphic card drivers are up to date. If it’s not the case, visit your graphic card manufacturer's website and download and install the latest driver. If you have a laptop, you may have to visit the laptop manufacturer’s website in order to obtain the latest driver. Please note that these can often be a few revisions behind the reference driver. It may be worth contacting your laptop manufacturer to see if they plan to update the driver soon.

For help on updating your drivers please follow the appropriate steps below depending on your card manufacturer and system type:[/list]

Note on integrated graphics:
Some graphical issues can be caused by the game running through integrated Intel graphics cards as opposed to high-performance NVIDIA/ATI cards.

If you want to run the game through your dedicated graphics card, you will need to refer to your computers manufacturer’s documents or instructions if you are unsure on how to do this, alternatively you can contact the manufacturer directly if you do not have these documents.

For most systems, this can be done by selecting the 'High Performance' setting in either the Nvidia Control Panel or the Catalyst Control Centre.

SCREEN RESOLUTION
If you’re experiencing screen resolution issues, please first try to launch our configuration tool, it's available as an option when you launch the game from your Steam Library.
Here you can "Re-optimize for resolution" (if for instance you have changed your setup, new monitor or GPU...) and choose the resolution.

You can also use this tool to switch between windowed mode and full screen. This may also fix some issues.

VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE
If you’re still having problems getting the game to launch or you are experiencing random crashes, it might be that the game did not install correctly or that some of your local game data has become corrupt. Please use Steam’s validation check at least twice as it can sometimes, incorrectly, report no problems on its first pass.

• Load Steam
• From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
• Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache button.
• Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
• Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.
• Check it twice in order to be sure everything is okay

STILL HAVE AN ISSUE?
If you've found a bug that’s not been reported yet, then please send an email at support@ekosystem.com with the following information.

OVERVIEW
A brief description of the issue.

STEPS
The steps required to reliably recreate the issue.
For example:
1. Launch the game
2. Select Campaign
3. etc.

Please also add the following information / documents in your report. They are crucial elements that will help us to understand what’s going on and how we could help you:

Dump files
You can find the crash dump files in the Exe directory of the game (something like STEAM_DIR\steamapps\common\Warhammer Chaosbane\Exe\*.dmp). There are not always crash dump files available, so don’t worry if you don’t find one in the folder. If so however, please send them to us.

Logs
You can find the log files in the Logs directory (something like STEAM_DIR\steamapps\common\Warhammer Chaosbane\Exe\Logs).

DXDiag
Could you please also send us your DXDiag info as described here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028644/windows-open-and-run-dxdiagexe?

GraphicsOptions.log
Please send us this file, it can be found in the Exe directory as well.
