Can't talk to Mina?

Whenever I talk to Mina at Renaki, all that happens is she says "hello again", then gets up and says "be well" and leave. Did I ruin my chances by talking about an arrangement ages ago? I've already talked to her dad, went to the observatory, and returned

Depending on what was said, possibly. Also try walking outside the market plaza first, in case the game is waiting to trigger a cutscene (if you chose a specific path)
