I got the full game and played the free episode and wouldn't want to buy the full game a second time
That's kind of a dirty trick though since a lot of people would have played the free version of episode 1 so they could get a perfect game (100% achievements), but now u r taking away the perfect game by adding dlc for the other episodes.
If we wanted to play all of the episodes we would've bought the full game with all of the episodes included (which i was planning on doing once the game had a sales price that my family could afford).
Yes, u will probably make some extra sales from achievement hunters who will buy the dlc so they can get the perfect game back again, but since u never said that u would b adding the dlc episodes to this "free" game, i think this is a bad decision & it's possibly due to the sales figures of the full game not being where u wanted/though they would be.
Anyway, like i said at the beginning, i think this is a dirty trick by the dev's/marketing team & i'll b sure to remember this when i'm thinking of purchasing any games made by this dev in the future.
You can remove episode 2,3,4 achievements from this game
I think what people are meaning is that u should sell Ep's 2, 3, & 4 as seperate products, which would have their own entry in peoples library, & each episode would have achievements for only that episode.
An example of this would b the Snail Trek series, which is 4 episodes long & each episode is sold as a seperate game/library entry.

But u can also buy all episodes in a steam bundle.

It's possible that by doing single episodes as seperate games u would also make more revenue.
Revenue will be less.
"as seperate products"
The product will not be divided into 5 different games because it has a single story. These are not 5 different stories. One whole story with the plot.
We don’t know how else to explain to you.
"Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest: Episode 1"
https://store.steampowered.com/app/769920/
and
"Odysseus Kosmos and his Robot Quest (Episodes 1 - 4)"
https://store.steampowered.com/app/645820/
They will have identical content. And I think steam rules not allowed it.
Double game for double purchase?
The Snail Trek series was not 4 seperate stories, it was 1 story divided into 4 chapters, so that argument dosen't really work.
Sorry but no.
We will add episodes for those players who are interested in the story. And we do not want to litter the library of players with five games, if we can make them as DLС
It is unfair to get a free episode of the game, which is based on history and want only achievements from it.
