me too, bout it when it came out awhile ago, managed to play like 2 or 3h, then last year tried to play it, started crashing like crazy on stat up, dont even remember what i tried to fix it, but some how it shows up like i played 4h which i defitely did not, and the game still cant launch. would like to play it actually.

To fix this issue, you can right click the game in Steam, click properties, and paste the following into the launch options:
cmd /c "set OPENSSL_ia32cap=:~0x20000000 && %command%"

Le problème de crash au lancement de Dakar 18 via Steam est assez fréquent, surtout sur certaines configurations récentes, notamment les processeurs Intel de 10e, 11e, et même 12e génération. Ce crash est souvent lié à un bug avec la bibliothèque OpenSSL utilisée par l'Unreal Engine 4.21, qui est employé par le jeu.

Voici deux solutions qui pourraient fonctionner :

Modification des variables système pour contourner le problème OpenSSL :

Ouvrez le Panneau de configuration de Windows.
Allez dans Système et sécurité > Système > Paramètres système avancés.
Cliquez sur Variables d'environnement.
