The ocean nylon/mono material is made specifically for the sea fishing.
The behavior of line cuts works differently on the freshwater water bodies compare to the ocean map. That's why even the 180 kg nylon can be cut by pikes.

Please use the steel leader or the regular fluoro carbon material for freshwater fishing.

thats the same material i use at the norwegian sea, catching sharks and i think, sharks have pretty sharpe teeth as well ... so no, that argument doesnt count

my explaination is.......the line is too thick and soft for catching pike, i think you are using sea equipment lines for a small pike ofc it doesnt make sense and can bite trough easily. maximum recomended to catch a pike is flouro carbon below 9kg

To begin with, for some reason you forgot that this is a video game. There is a non-zero chance for any fish with teeth to bite through any fishing line. This is the official explanation from the developers. You're just out of luck.
