I would like to try one of the other games in the series, I own and have tried them (for like an hour each perhaps) but none pull me in in the same way the first does. The first game feels good to sail the ships, fire the cannons, gather the crew etc. The combat in the cabin is ofc a mini game but it makes sense and feels snappy. I tried to do the fighting in a couple of the newer ones but it feels chaotic. The characters also don't feel as -immediately- interesting as Nicholas Sharp's origin story. Wou...

so im looking for a good and deep pirate sim, and it looks like this series got a lot pof praise by several different google findings and posts. BUT, there is a huge problem i have. this game series seems to have ATLEAST 3 different titles (pirates of the carribian, age of pirates and sea dogs) and also it has like several sequels, dlc's and mods.................... so my question is, what is considered the best and deepest "version" of this game series? again, its so damn confusing, i wasnt able to figur...

game itself looks fine but all the menus bug out and half screen and green/blue/purple not allowing me to sort skills or save or anything

I am really struggling to play the Sea Dogs games in 4K. It says i have to change the resolution in the engine.ini. So far so good, but if i set something above 1080p, i just get an unknown error crash.

When starting the game either it just black screens or the intro cut scene breaks and has flashing white lights as the background doesn't even mesh together. If you shift tab the graphics break and become green and purple. If you go to the options you can no longer interact with anything including exiting the screen. Shift tab does not work either...
