War over Technology card bug?
After winning a War over Technology, one can choose to take cards instead of science points from the defeated player.

However, after choosing to take a card, it did not appear in my hand by the time I got to the Action phase of my turn (so I used Undo to take science points instead).

the card that you steal will be already in your civ, don't need to waste science points to that.

So it gets played immediately (thus saving an action point)? That's okay then.

yes, it's a great strategy to steal blue technology cards, especially if you don't have any levels of that card, but never if you have higher than the defender.
