Is the Sega Saturn found in the home actually usable and can you win games for it? (Is there also a way to skip all cut scenes like in the beginning of the game?)

Im 34 and not new to this type of game. I even grew up with it and was aware of it when it came out. I recently decided to give it a good run and holy ****, this game is insanely slow and boring. The dialogue is painful, combat is bad, graphics are bad, and its 30 fps. lol. Ill stick to Yakuza. Hopefully the second is more "fun". I recall renting the second and I did recall it being more fun lol. The 3rd will at least have playable combat. What a disappointing experience...But I am aware it is 20 + years ...
