Retiring the Project

All, I haven't been able to update the game as I've lost all of my data related to the game. Game is unfinished and super unpolished as is and don't feel it is fair for me to continue offering it knowing I won't be able to make any more updates to it.

A while back I had changed pricing on the game to reflect my pessimism in being able to update it but now that it is indeed confirmed I'm going to request Steam to remove it from sale.

War on Drugs VR - Nearing first release

hi all,

War on Drugs VR is a sandbox game with some story elements. The main goal of the game is to help your friend Fred. First you have to find him of course.

Other than that the game also has a heist at the moment. I tried to create a heist where the player would have to come up with multiple ways to meet the end goal (rob the jewelry store). Right now it is still a bit rough though so bear with me.

Overall I have some ideas of where I want to take this, and what improvements I want to make to it, however I am quite open to suggestions.

Where are the cars?

There are no cars currently in the game. I tried a lot to use them in the game but constantly ran into performance issues. So for now I've nixed them as the cost outweighs the benefits.

Vive only?

Yes for now, Vive only. Don't own a rift and have no way of testing it. My PC is on the lower end of the "VR ready" so any investment I make towards gaming will be to upgrade my PC first then get other peripherals.

Does this game have multiple locomotion methods?

Yes - it has a freeform smooth locomotion and a teleportation method of locomotion.
