I'm glad you guys are still working on the game despite all the negative people hating on the game. It's a fun game and I'll have to jump back in and see if it still locks up or plays again.

so giving your opinion about some aspects on a game is hating on it? get out of here.

Go to the forums and try educating yourself on something... There have been some that gave great critical feedback, and that's a good thing. But since launch there have also been many who trashed the game because they could without ever playing it or only playing a short time and then posting they refunded the game while trashing it again.
I myself have enjoyed what I played and definitely left both positive feedback as well as some concerns about some things.

Hey everyone!

We truly appreciate everyone's feedback and ongoing support for Away: Survival Series!
The developers are working hard to continuously develop our games graphics, animations, and playability to create the highest quality experience possible for you guys.

All the feedback allows us to pin-point the aspects of our game that need to be worked on to increase the quality of the players experience and also to know what aspects everyone is enjoying!

We highly encourage y'all to play through the game and share more of your thoughts, allowing us to better develop the games experience for you and future players.

Best,

No one is trashing the game just to trash it. The devs over promised and under delivered. No one elses fault besides their own for all the hype they gave to it just to let it flop.

Its honestly the issue that they didnt put it in beta and let people playtest and report issues before the full release. Its not that they over promised and under delivered, they just playtested it themselves and needed feedback before releasing it. If they overpromised and under delivered, it would be more of an issue of them not wanting to improve their game with the feedback they were given by those that have played.

Edit: Elaborated a bit more.

I went poking around for information about Tokyo Jungle and if there was a sequel and i saw the trailer for this game. looked great and I immediately picked it up. 2.5 hrs in and oh my LORD there's more bugs in the programming of this game than you end up eating throughout the game. I don't know exactly how you managed to allow something that's so obviously broken go to market but it's really insane. in 2.5 hours I've REPEATEDLY had to force death to try to reset due to glitches such as things being stuck in my mouth preventing me from feeding, the black mamba fight during the fire no longer allowing me to attack, when targeting snakes the camera vibrates like you just loaded it up with fresh batteries, the climbing mechanic on trees is abysmal, struggling against the camera pointing in the most useless direction possible and INSISTING it's the right option, the target jump is inconsistent at best, the guided trail frequently becomes near impossible to follow without repeated failed attempts jumping to my death, trying to get to the vulture when it was in that rail car or whatever took me no less than 15 tries and watching someone else do it successfully, the animation being stiff and lifeless, I can keep going but I won't. I wanted this game to be better and the dev team really dropped the ball. This game needs a LOT of polish and I hope you give it the attention it so badly deserves. I'm not going to refund this game but I do expect you to right the wrongs and do this game justice. I'll be following development into the future and I hope you figure this out.

Hey there!

We appreciate you taking the time to play through a portion of the game and also coming here to share your experience, regardless of the negative aspects!
As a small team of developers, the game was pushed with a number of bugs still present in an attempt to make up for the lost time that took place due to our late release.
We are aware that there are still iffy mechanics and glitches in the game, but know that our team of game testers and developers are working each day to better AWAY and make it the game we had envisioned at the beginning of our journey!
A major patch was released a month ago and more updates to the game are coming, as we thrive on trying the make the player experience as optimized as possible!
Sincerely,

Joey
