Hard vs Nightmare and replay

So i finished CS1 on Nightmare and although i didn't had problems with it, it also felt like some bosses and lategame mobs became a tedium to fight against, because of the buffed stats. The "final boss' was almost a joke. He didn't even had a turn for the 2\3 of the fight and it was just borring chipping away of his huge healthpool. Consistent stutter on Win 10 + AMD when text renders - linux is the solution?

tl;dr: Windows + AMD GPU blows chunks, and can't run this game correctly. Run it on linux or nvidia to solve the problem. The Problems There seems to be some sort of consistent issue on AMD hardware (I'm running Win 10, Ryzen 7 3800x and Radeon 6600 XT), where the game experiences INTENSE lag when any text is rendered. This causes constant micro-stutter during cutscenes, and menuing is total garbage. This issue has VERY few threads on the internet, most people experience crashes or sound proble...

Thoroughly enjoyed this game. Looking forward to TOCS3. Having said that, I wish I hadn't listened to the people that said Trails of Cold Steel is a good point to jump into the Trails series. Without spoiling too much, you REALLY should play the prior games in the series before playing TOCS, otherwise it really isn't gonna hit the same. I feel like I've kinda ruined the experience for myself by playing TOCS before others, especially Trails From Zero and Trails to Azure. Ah well, you live and you learn. I'll be playing all the prior games before continuing the Cold Steel story arc.
