i've noticed that sometimes the hits i take dont actually dmg me though atleast
Our connection speed to server is only secondary.
What can a player do is:
To be sure nothing will hurt you during the ooting moments or just hit logg off to reset the instance for the character if it goes wrong.
If I am sure there is only a single zombie nearby at open world I go for loot and hit dodge and keep moving on. I try not to do that if the zombie nearby is a scissor hand/scythe one since they seem to be broken at dealing extra extra damage.
(Stealth/Visibility range is the clean route)
I avoid looting inside at end zones if I dont stealth (much cleaner to loot and take down zombies under stealth). Or I clear the room when I block entry of new zombies and use pistol/shotgun at closer range. (Stealth is still clean)
Loading screens when enteing and exiting the doors also have the same issue. It is bad especially when the game keep respawning the zombies like mad at times.
did you just buy all BIS everything and leave no reason to even play?
i'm not trying to be as aggressive about it as i sound, but i just can't fathom why people do that in games
now it starts fetching loot when you first interact with a loot instead of at end of search, and zombies cant get to you while the loot window is up :)
however, for me, this has been a great bandaid. ofc the servers aren't any better. but mitigating the issues is still a good thing.
i have yet to run into it, but i certainly hope the prefetching loot isn't causing your disco? that's the only way i could see this update make loot disappear because a bossloot would always poof if disco, and the regular loot spots do not disappear from disconnection.
they will poof if you change rooms though.
it does force you to decide if you have enough time to fill the searchbar before zombies get to you if you intend on leaving the room to escape them. but it has been pushing them back for me wether it hangs or not, i really don't know how this can be different for us. if anything the pushback from having loot window up is a bit OP, now instead of needing to melee all the infected after a PZ, or drag them away and run back for bossloot. i can just fill the searchbar, let them bounce off of me, take loot and hit dodge.
