Everyone be aware that in a lot of steam games (this one included) there are people who try to impersonate steam staff members. If anyone contacts you either by steam or discord claiming to be a staff member of steam/valve do not click any links they send you or give them any information about your steam account. These scams usually start out by them telling you that your account was reported and is in danger of being banned/terminated unless you follow their directions which usually consists of clicking outside links or giving them information about your account. A real member of steam staff/valve will not contact you over discord, you would have to deal with the issue on the app itself via support.

We have been getting reports of this recently which is why we are making the post.If anyone does encounter this please direct message one of the discord staff members or do @discord moderators in the official discord server and let them know who is doing it as well as any screenshots or proof you may have of it.
