The game has a simplistic design with a refreshing color scheme. Everything is so cleanly placed on the screen without clutter while still allowing you to easily find anything you need.

Gameplay
Nonogram - Master's Legacy's free content only lies in the Starter Pack, which consists of 15 puzzles and mostly serves as an introductory course to Nonogram due to its small size. The puzzles range from 2x2 to 9x9 that can be solved very quickly. Despite the short playtime, it benefits from the community puzzles, where people can create their own puzzle to be played by others.

Creating a puzzle for the workshop can be confusing to do. The game doesn't have a clear tutorial for it and I only managed to create one by chance. Luckily, if you are only interested in playing Nonograms like me, you don't have to worry about that.

A lot of puzzles are already available in the workshop. You can filter it by size, and since I couldn't play the large ones because of Steam Deck's small resolution screen, I still managed to play up to 25x25 ones with ease. The puzzles of that size have the right difficulty for me, so I didn't worry about the limitations. You can still play a larger puzzle with that, but the touch control can be tricky since the buttons can be hard to click that way.

That being said, the community puzzles load very slowly. There is a delay when you search the puzzles and another delay when you load one. It can take some patience before you can finish some puzzles.

Length and Difficulty
I finished the Starter Pack in 7 minutes. I spent the rest of my playtime finishing 50 community puzzles for the achievement. Technically, you also can get it within minutes by playing the easy ones, but I took my own pace and played the ones with a larger size.

As for the difficulty, the Starter Pack is very easy to beat. However, the larger puzzles in the community puzzles can be challenging to solve. I still managed to finish the one in the 25x25 range, although I'd prefer to play the one in the 15x15 size.

Issues
Since I'm playing on the Steam Deck, it's expected that the tiles will be hard to press with the touchscreen. That being said, you can zoom on the game and it also offers a button that allows you to X-mark the tiles on the screen.

Nonogram - Master's Legacy has the basic features of the Nonogram game and triumphs more for its community puzzles. For those who don't want to touch the community puzzles, the game serves more as an introductory course to Nonogram, and those who want a challenge can do so by tackling the bigger images in the community puzzles. It's a Nonogram game for everyone.
