When I add numbers to a painted line I start in my head with the number already painted, so the cursor count being just the additionally painted squares is more of a distraction than anything. It would be great if the cursor count did the same as my head, ie if there are 6 painted squares then when I add more it would go 7,8,9 etc.; it would sometimes have to wait and see which direction I was painting.
