I like some of the other games they made without realising these games share a developer.

When I looked if there are more games to play I stumbled over their first forever in early access release.

Did anything happen to development? Like did they abandone it or just forget to make official release when the game was finished?
Usually when developers scam their customers and run they don't just release other games that even turn out to be great, so I am quite confused.
