Is there any AI manip for the duel boss's arte use (spoiler)?

Flynn rarely seems to certain artes (like Demon Fang). I know First Aid and Guardian Field are more common when he's on low health. Are there any other conditions that are known to get him to use certain artes more?

I think he will use certain Artes only after a certain HP threshold and the Mystic Arte only triggers if you want to do it and then he will counter yours, so be prepared for that
