Who is your favorite Team combo?
I have a feeling many people will have the same mainline team combos but still.

My usual 3 team combos are:
Yuri,Estell,Rita,Judy
Yuri Estell,Raven,Repede
Judy,Rita,Estelle,Repede

Karol is garbage and only really useful for Nice Aid Smash and being a meat shield.

Rita has a stupendous overlimit combo of repeating Tractor Beam -> Negative Gate. It pushes them up then throws them back down and does a tremendous amount of damage while stunlocking enemies.

Estell is a necessary party member due to having the best healing and Resurrection if necessary and is one of the biggest reasons I feel like many team compositions are going to be similar.

Yikes, Estelle isnt required at all.
Yuri/Repede/Raven/Rita 90% of the time

10% of the time Flynn/Patty/Rita/Raven

Also people dissin Karol when he can pull off sick combos

(these can be even longer now cause PS3 ver more overlimit and better altered artes.

Patty, Karol, +2 Meele

I control Patty. Mainly playing as support by casting magic artes from far away and casting healing artes when needed. If the situation changes, I can always switch forms and go into meele combat. When Patty is low on TP, just launch a rocket and hope that she will ride down a skewer. (restores HP & TP within three healing areas) :NorminOrange:

bosses like flying fish on hard just show how garbage melee AI to have around, so all ranged + yuri.

I tend to switch alot but the team I beat the graveyard with was:

Rita, Yuri, Flynn, Estelle.

Rita: No words needed - best mage of all the tales game ever <3
(The Graveyard Boss i pretty much soloed with her 60 level down was one of the most epic fights I ever had in my live)
Yuri: good melee I can play against Magic Immune stuff and usefull without mana (so 95% of the time in the graveyard x'D)
Flynn: Loved by all monsters! Srsly! This guy pulls nearly as much aggro as Rita. Sole reson for him in my Team.
Estelle: Mandatory in Graveyard - at least during the first playthrough + on hard. xD

yea ive also noticed that flynn for some reason pulls aggro ALOT. Which is pretty helpfull if you want to combo faces in peace.

My team is:
Yuri (combo'r)
Repede (item user)
Flynn (Dual mystic arte, tank and backup heals)
Patty (healer and offensive magic)

I generally go with the characters I like best over their actual prowess in battle. But I've been running

Rita, Estelle, Patty, Yuri.

As my main party, and controlling Rita.

Most of the game I'm running Patty, Yuri, Raven and Rita.

Though admittedly as I'm stll on my first run, I'm usually playing on Easy/Normal depending on my mood and GRADE I need, so I have no idea how valid this composition is on higher difficulties, but I guess I'll find out sooner or later.

Rita and Estelle are always in my party as they make up for my weaknesses.

Repede/Judith/Raven are switched out depending on if I need someone to direct attack (Judith) Inflict status conditions (Repede) or keep their distance from a particularly nasty enemy (Raven) while I (yes, I never switched Yuri out, he's always been slot one unless we were surprised) either directly attack or tank it.

Rita, that's it.

I lke to control Flynn sometimes. Shame that you have to wait 80 hours before you can control him without him leaving soon after.
They could have had Graces F system where you can transform someone in the party in another character. It was the only way to play as Richard in the main story arc.

In a list I made with adding extra grade shop bonus, I added an option for Patty and Flynn to join permnantly after their first cutscenes. I doubt it will ever get added because playing as Flynn is fun, and Patty is like 3 characters in one (A little like Kratos is in Symphonia)

Yuri, Estelle + 2 for early - midgame, then rita + any 3 for the mid-late game.

Miraglyth 5 Feb, 2019 @ 4:48am
Yuri for combos, Karol for healing, Rita for elemental artillery, then a variable fourth that is often Repede for thievery coverage but can be Judith for the aggressive AI or Raven for either fast battle ending in easy areas or backup healing in tough ones.

That's how it was on 360 and hasn't really changed despite really wanting to learn how to play Judith.

Patty seems like she starts out bad but is improved by skills more than the rest so I can't really decide on her yet. And unless Flynn is vastly different to his 360 cameo or OP he seems like a jack of all trades I wouldn't use much.

My favorite team is Flynn, Yuri, Patty and Rita. Patty is for me a must have in the team and she's literally WAY better healer than Estelle. The fact that Patty can give you exp x10 with Critical Moment makes it so damn easy to lvl up end game in Necropolis of Nostalgia.
I got like over 4m exp in 1 floor and it's not even NG+.
