4/10 its the trolley problem that slowly gets harder, forced to pick A or B
starts you off with death or let them go free
you have to pick one of these two well trying not to piss off one group of people to much or they will kill you
- reloaded my save to find the next case button not working and broke my save. had to fully reload and this is what killed the game for me
- so many bugs
- rigged minigames you cant win

A fantastic immersive narrative game that shines through its elegant design, its art and way it handles the subject at hand.

It puts you in the shoes of a judge in the French Revolution. And does so by increasing the stakes, intelligently tying some resources very personal to you, that you then have to manage, such as your reputation, your standing with the revolutionaries, with the common folks, and even your family members, and thus, putting some real personal weight behind every decision you make.

Will you condemn to appease the masses, judge the person harshly for their integrity but counter-revolutionary convictions? Will you be able to keep your reputation intact, will you be able to solve all cases? Will your son, your father, your wife understand or disapprove of your decisions, and what will this lead to?

And will you in the end serve....Justice?

Because the game puts the fate of multiple people directly into your hands. Some are common folks accused of theft, rape, murder, some are aristocrats involved in schemes. But you'll also be in charge of judging the famous names from the Revolution (without spoiling here).

An intelligent game with beautiful aesthetics that respects the player by offering real dilemmas, mature themes, and asking them to make the best of an often very bad if not impossible to solve situation.
