Is a OK game if you get it for like 5€, the first game of the series was better. it makes fun as small conquer and exploit game. But it has exact the same flaws and bugs like the first game. Politics is crazy random, and you cant say 'give me This for That'. Most of the time you search the war through a backdoor, because you don't want the debuf and there is no really another way to expand your kingdom.

The game is super basic. It is fun but not worth £40?? Also the devs abandoned the game (no more updates).

The Short: If took all the negatives and a severely dumbed down lineage system from Crusader Kings and combined them with the combat of Total War minus Total War's terrain system and tactics, you have Knights of Honor 2.

The Long:

Like many other reviews have stated, this game is simply not fun. The game is essentially a decent board game with little depth, this wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't being priced in the same ballpark as Crusader Kings 3 or other games in the genre that completely decimate this title on all fronts. To make matters worse, the game play is hidden behind an onslaught of overly complicated mechanics and poorly explained mechanics and a UI straight out of the 90s, that explains very little.

If I didn't know better, I would have said this game was released in 2008, which is about the time frame this game would have been a hit, (right here I actually paused to go look up when the original KOH came out and sure enough it was 2004, which means this would have been a fitting sequel if released in 2008).

Beyond this it's plagued with the typical issues of this genre, Low intelligence AI, NPCs that ignore game mechanics & economy, poor diplomacy reactions, short lived rulers that you will never care about, and random events that contribute nothing but frustration. Did I mention it's just not fun?

Bottom line, go play CK3 and avoid this title. It brings nothing to the table.
