WHO WE ARE

SS-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 9 is a Virtual Reenactment Unit for Periscope Game’s Post Scriptum. We strive to portray a Panzeraufklärungszug within SS-Panzer-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 9, SS-Panzer-Division “Hohenstaufen”, on both the Eastern and Western Fronts, from the building-up phase of the Division in 1943, until its capitulation in 1945, to the highest levels of authenticity.

This means we work hard to achieve the highest of standards, in terms of our historical accuracy and portrayal, as well as providing an environment to further research into the field craft of the Panzergrenadier. This includes a period-accurate organization/structure, chain of command, equipment, uniforms, tactics, and Operations. These efforts ultimately culminate into organized battles, with enforced realistic and historically accurate parameters, against opposing Allied Units.

With a broad mix of both EU & NA members, this Unit is based on a real camaraderie of brotherhood and genuine interest in Axis/WWII history. Those who enlist should be interested in the historical representation of the professional soldier who fought during the Second World War, as well as the tactics that he employed on the battlefield.
