You could start out by stopping playing with your cheater friends. then your will stop encountering cheaters constantly in a few years when your trustfactor improves

They can already cheat all they want on unsecured servers, valve explicitly facilitating it will only make the problem worse for legit players. Cheaters don't want to play vs cheaters, they want their dumb friends to think they are good.

I had a similar idea and just make cheating tools a workshop item, servers would have to be dedicated for that tool. But I fear that Dremin has a very real point, they prefer to live in a dream world even though it is clear to most they are cheating..

If its full ragehacking and the entire team dies within the first seconds after freezetime then you might as well go afk and do other stuff until the match is over

this is a sad truth.
cheaters are usually not good at learning new skills.
but that alone doesn't make you a cheater.

a cheater is a special kind of slow learner.

the kind that deserves your respect even if he didn't accomplish anything.

and since you constantly seem to forget to praise him the way he deserves it he has to remind everyone from time to time how absolutely awesome he is.

the funniest part of this: they actually gain happiness from this.
they geniually feel good after getting praised by some unskilled player who thinks they are good.
just imagine how their life must look
