Windows 11? Because yeah, it doesn't work on Windows 11, and despite me reporting this to 2k/gearbox, they refuse to do anything about it whatsoever. I opened a ticket with them back in December of 2023 and they never fixed it or provided a workaround that did anything.

I have Win 11 and i can play....
I'm getting the same exact error here. I'm trying to launch on a ROG Ally X running Windows 11.

I can launch it on my Asus Strix 15 laptop running Windows 11, and I can launch it on my desktop running windows 11 as well. Just not on the ROG Ally X.

Anyone find a work around?
Windows 11 User here. Just got out of a session myself. Best advice in regard, open your games location folder through STEAM, should look something like this, as that's where my copy is located.

F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\BorderlandsGOTYEnhanced\Binaries\Win64

Right click the BorderlandsGOTY file and click properties. Click the Compatibility Tab, Click "Change setting for all users", tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:", select Windows 7 in the drop down box, Apply, OK. Run the game.

Should work for you. That's the only work around/fix I have found in regard to it.
