Enhanced in some minor ways, you can find details in store page, but there is no reason not to play the new version.

Enhanced is the Blind Squirrel remaster released in 2019. If you just want to play the game without any setup, it's good enough, but if you're okay with some setup, I'd highly recommend the OG; it's a far better and less buggy experience, plus mods work with it.

I mean, apart from the fact that the original release and the "plain Jane" GOTY versions are delisted so you can't normally even GET them anymore. The big pros that Enhanced brings are upscaled graphics (though the DLC intro vids were untouched and therefore look HORRIFIC when juxtaposed to actual gameplay) and some UI additions/tweaks (mini-map, a few nice sorting options in your inventory). The biggest con is that it had some sort of memory leak when first released, and while I haven't experienced it yet, I doubt it was fixed. Additionally even though it CAN support hi-end stuff now, it still doesn't "like" doing it and you'll most likely have to fiddle around with .ini tweaks and graphics control panels.

Modding is exceedingly annoying to accomplish on Enhanced, simply because nobody cares enough to update anything anymore (though the WillowTree save editor still MOSTLY works if you download the latest version). There's those Shift keys everyone's talking about, but that requires signing up for crap and I'm not biting that hook - especially since the Knoxx armory glitch wasn't fully patched (you can still do it if you fall on the far right side).

All in all, I'd still say this is the version to get, but mainly just because it's WAY more effort than it's worth to try getting the older ones.

You get the OG when you buy Enhanced.
The reason mods aren't updated for enhanced is because the UDK can't open its files, and many changes were made internally, so compatibility is super annoying to deal with.
