Hi, we are currently working on a patch that will improve the racing sections.
The most important point is that the difficulty level will stay constant instead of increasing: Nirvana Sync going low will have only an ahestetic effect and not change your max speed.
Also the jump will be more responsive because we rewrote the entire input system.

Much better now, can't say I enjoyed racing sections a lot, but at least I was able to beat it. Story and art I liked though, would love to play a bigger game in this universe.

Jumping is still kind of glitched, sometimes it is aborted at 1/3 of the typical jump height, and once I was able to jump almost to the top of my screen. Typically happens when you try to jump while moving left/right.

p.s. You should totally make a key to hide/show the message box during visual novel sections.

Anyhow, in future updates you'll find:
- difficulty levels for the Arcade Mode & Story Mode, affecting max speed and glitching level
- reduced glitching in all modes

I recently bought this game on Nintendo Switch, but they don't have a community forum so I came here to see if there were any tips or tricks for completing the races. I also find the game too difficult. I'm not as familiar with Nintendo as I am with Steam, will there be similar updates for that console format as well?

I am really enjoying the graphics and aesthetic of the game and the VN aspect. Great story. I just need some help with the racing.

Hi Phil, thanks for your comment! Regarding the racing, some advice:
1. check that you are using the raised camera (main menu -> settings -> uncheck racing camera)
2. you can exercise in the Arcade mode.
3. if you use the brake you can lower your speed a little
4. there are many videos on youtube with players completing different tracks

Also if you have issues with specific races, let me know and we can give you some pointers. There are also many videos on youtube.

Last, but not least, the story has different endings but you don't need to win all the races to access them. In particular, you can access the final exam with 4 wins out of the first 9 races.
