Read this first! - Troubleshooting / Bugs -
Hi folks! Entropy : Zero has been tested thoroughly to ensure you get the smoothest experience possible. However, if you do run into issues, you can use this forum to tell me. I will do my best to assist you!

Please follow these rules when submitting bugs and such:

Rules
  • Don't be vulgar.
  • Don't flame.
  • Don't abuse others.

Bugs
If you're here to report a bug, make a new thread with "BUG" at the start of the thread title. This will help me filter through bits and address your issue quickly.

Please give me as much information as you can regarding the bug and provide me with screenshots if necessary.

Bug fixes will be fixed and deployed in batches, unless they are game breaking.

Troubleshooting
You can also post here if you're having general issues with the mod. In this case it isn't necessary to prefix your thread title.

I will do my best to address issues raised.

There should probably be a disclaimer that using any version of steam that also localizes HL2's UI and captions could cause EZ's captions to break somewhat.

Edit: After replaying the mod I felt a lot less confused by a growling advisor thanks to switching my steam client to english.

So I'm trying to play this game since the new one just came out and I want to play them in order, but every time I try to launch the game, my screen turns black and then it minimizes and then refuses to unminimize. It just makes the screen go black again and then minimizes again.

I have all the HL2 games installed as well as the 2013 version of the Source SDK. I've tried putting "-Fullscreen" in the launch options, I've tried unplugging all but one monitor, I've tried changing my display's resolution to 1080p and 720p (native is 1440p) and I've verified the files on every game and the sdk. Googling has provided me with no help. I found one or two people with the same problem, but no replies.

Any help would be appreciated

Restarting my computer and then running the game as administrator fixed it

when you collect an weapon or medkit the image that you collected it is cut in half

Manhacks kill the friendly npc in az_c3_2, completely killing progress if you have any manhacks deployed as chapters do not unlock and you have to start from the beginning of the game.

At the part where the other combine shoots you in the back (az_c2_3) - whenever the next cutscene begins, the ai disabled message appears (being cutoff and saying "ai dis"). No matter what I do (re loading the save/game, typing any command in the console) I can not get the ai to work, halting progress. Steam keeps saying that 5 files are missing when I verify them and this never changes.


Edit: spamming F9 (reload) seemed to fix it after a 5 minuet wait. no clue why.
