I can't believe nobdy has or had problems with this game! :)
I have managed to solve the issue. It was a conflictive driver in my computer.
To be more specific it was the card reader driver.
According to the makers of this device its driver it's fully compatible with Windows 7, and after debugging kernel mode and checking signatures it was not. So it gave me a hard time with this game and others like Sonic All Stars Racing.
However it didn't crash other games and that's why I never noticed. My card reader can work fine with the Microsoft default driver and Smart Card Reader driver.
All is OK and thank you very much for your help
You mean the game is freezing up for you at Rouge's Seaside Hill mission? (It triggers randomly when you smash a robot.)
As I recall, one suggested solution to that is to use your task manager, and set Sonic Generations' priority to High.
Supposedly, that can solve the Seaside Hill Rouge mission freeze. But I've never tried it, to be honest (I had already finished the mission before hearing of this).
(I had never heard of a game freeze happening with Charmy, though)
The game also froze in Rooftop Run for no reason that I know of.
Also. Be sure you have not conflictive drivers. My card reader driver was causing problems as well.
