Hello hello, I started playing the game and everything was running okay, but suddenly when I actually started the first level the character models just straight up weren't there. Like there were shadows on the ground, and the facial features of the robots were floating in air, but I couldn't see the models at all - which I can only assume isn't intentional! Is there a way I can fix this??...

I have tried everything I know of, the game always runs too fast. I've capped the fps 3 different ways, set my monitor to 60hz in the settings and forced it on. This is hopeless. Someone needs to come in and do a tune-up on this game.

This is how I got the game to work with no input lag, regardless of my monitor refresh rate. I downloaded PCSX2, a Playstation 2 emulator, and extracted the ISO from a personal copy of Space Channel 5 Part 2 Special Edition. My father owned it on PS2 since I was a little girl.
