game not allowing a new save file
so i just came back to the game after not playing for a long time and wanted to start over, only to find out i cant. everytime i try to start a new save it instead shows the "life is too short, enjoy it while it lasts" message it shows when quitting the game and then the game closes. does anyone else have this problem/know how to fix this?

I have the same problem. I also wanted to play a new game today. Very frustrating!

mine stopped doing it after a recent update. maybe check if you can update the game to see if it helps you too
