An invitation to help us improve our translated text!

Dear gamers,

As you know we are developers from China and honestly we had great difficulty translating the original text into English. The complaints of bad text is understandable and we do want to improve the translated text! For us, we want to give clues to solve puzzles accurately as well as express a feeling of dark undertones. We also incorporate popular culture references such as a Godfather line and an internet celeb and hope you will not miss it due to poor translation.

Therefore, you are invited to help us improve the current translated text! Anywhere you feel weird or unreadable, you are welcomed to send us screenshots to complain about it.

在发射核弹那一关，如果在偷炸弹一个人没进入之前吧看炸弹的那个人杀死，那个间谍就有一定几率导致他不偷炸弹

I have to say I'm pleased to hear you say this. Most developers would just take these complaints and just brush them off as offensive, but you guys did the right thing and state your English translating skill is "not the best." I will try to help as best as I can(as soon as I can figure out how to take a screenshot in game(I suck I know.lol)).

Hello, Why not create a google doc (or excel online doc) to list your actual english translation ?

It's certainly better than make screenshot.

An other Solution is to host a translating website same as Zanata or Weblate to invite your gamers community to help you to translate.

My proposal focuses on your current game english translation.

It is easier for the players to read all your english translations and to propose several corrections than to take screenshots.

Thanks for suggestions. We will discuss if it is possible. The concern is that players will be be spoiled by text.

If you want no spoil players, you can also use issue tracker (same flyspray) to repport all bad text from users.

"Deathcoming" is actually kind of catchy and unique.

In America, there is a popular celebration called, "Homecoming" that involves reunions, sports, parties and dancing. By calling the game, "Deathcoming", you'd be playing off the concept of Homecoming, and people would think you are being witty and clever.

Since it is a title, grammar doesn't matter and you can do anything you want. DeathComing is a perfectly legitimate english title. Just know that mid-word capital C is bizarre.

Capital letters never appear mid-word in english. So readers are unsure of why it is being captialized. Some people will think you're being clever, others will assume it is a translation error.

For your game, a good english phrase to use would be:

You are a tragedy waiting to happen.

The phrase "that's a tragedy waiting to happen" is a popular joke made about something that is doomed.

Because you play a Grim Reaper who causes accidents, people would think your game was being clever and funny.

Simply press F12 while in-game, steam will take a screenshot for you and show it to you once you close the game.

say, if you are going to let the players help translate the game, is it possible to let them translate the game into languages that arent supported yet? i love the game but its not available in my native language (dutch) and would love to help if that means i can play it in the dutch language
