I had played the original PvP Hawken and liked it alot but I'm not a PvP player. I was hoping for a coop game back then.
I wish the PvP Hawken players would stop review bombing this game so much.
I played a mission. I liked the gameplay and the world.
If you don't accomplish the objective and get out before the timer runs out they send OP bots in.
The game reminded me of FireFall some and I wish that early game had succeeded in it's early vision.
I'm giving a thumbs up that they don't give up.


I couldn't get a friend to try it with me yet which is important for me in a coop game.
I don't have enough time to game at the moment but I am really really hopeful for this game.

It's like the developers of this game had no clue what made Hawken, Hawken. Sure, the mechs do look mostly the same and
you still have the features like dashing and quick turn and enemy mechs, but it still doesn't feel anything like source material. Hawken was a PVP arena shooter game where you were placed in this colorless, bland dystopian world fighting in heavy, slow, powerful mechs. This game is an extraction shooter where you dash across the map to go fight AI mechs and ground infantry (because that makes sense) while you're looking for boxes and scrap to shoot open. They took my funny mech game and waayy overcomplicated it. And for what? Who was asking for a Hawken extraction shooter?

This is not my HAWKEN. 3/10
