UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation FIX

It usually means that an antivirus software / firewall or something like that is blocking the application dll files, what helps is to whitelist the application with all of it's files or disable / uninstalling the software that blocks the game.

if you get this error, get a better antivirus, one that doesn't get false-positives on games

Actually I had the same issue with Subnautica. I uninstalled Citrix software and it worked.

Well, I made an acception in my Windows Defender and my other anti-virus, but it still crashes every 5 minutes.

Need help, because this is really annoying.

I tried this fix, but Thief Simulator still crashes on start every time.

Sometimes reinstalling the game helps.

well i was hoping the game getting blocked bcs i used citrix software but when i turn it off i still cant play it do i rly need to uninstall it...?

I don't even have any antivirus installed, just using Windows Defender. I added the Thief Simulator folder as an exclusion for Defender, but it still crashes on launch :/ Just bought this game and can't play it :(
