In fact I'd say NWN2 was actually uglier because of the art style.
NWN1 also can't really do world map/fast travel UI other than using dialog options. Can't do custom widgets either.
2 also had a nice UI for Eldritch Blast selection which might not be easy in 1 even with custom spellbooks.
Strictly speaking I prefer working with nwn1 than 2, but 2 wasn't completely without redeeming qualities.
So an absolute N O !!!! We dont need NWN2-remake! And the grafik of NWN1 is good enough and with the steam-version a little better then the original too.

Darkness over Daggerford did it.
I remember the graphics looked better but it ran like crap and felt dumbed down.
