Game crashes when I press Load
Exactly what it says. Whether I'm in the main menu, or if I start a new game and bring up the in-game menu, the moment I press Load the game shuts down. No ceremony, no error message, no chugging attempt from the game or OS to try and save the runtime, no indication what is wrong, I'm just back looking at my steam library.

Anyone got any ideas?

Did you install a portrait pack perhaps from Steam Workshop?

loading a save game previous to the update? it crash if you start a new game, save and then load with the new update?

Yeah, I moved my saves to another folder, and now it's working again. Seems like an overreaction to just shut the whole software down because of a portrait, but there it is.

No, I didn't get a chance to. The game crashed the moment I pressed the Load button. The list of saves didn't have time to show up.
