I didn't see a single person in any servers when I booted up the game yesterday

For some reason whenever I click play on steam or try to open the application through the game files it just does not launch and crashes after a few tries. I have reinstalled, verified game files and none seemed to work. Any suggestions?

I havent played this in 10+ years. I reinstalled it recently, the game launches, and when I join a server, it crashes past the loading screen on the OK button menu. I've tried everything.
