Anyone else thinks this is too grindy?
I mean its fun and all but getting all the documents on a map to leveling weapons and getting blue currency just feels way too grindy. Might be just me but 35 points for finishing a mission on extreme is ... not very rewarding, considering alot of perks cost like 500 points, and skins go on the same currency.

It isn't just you. Most in the community feel this way, exception the elitist die hard fanatics who will say it's perfectly fine. The game is a slog. The time vs reward is heavily imbalanced and now with 10 levels of prestige to go through, the grind is worse than its ever been throughout this game's history. X2 XP or coins events happen, but to be honest, they're laughable. They happen too far and few in between and offer only a minor boost in rewards.

If the grind is way too much for your interest, head on over to Nexus mods and download a completed prestige and class perks plus the documents save game(s). You can import them and skip all that grind. There is no rule against doing this either as this game has zero anti-cheat and you cannot be banned for using them.

Man it is crazy, how every game has to be a grind nowadays. I mean they could easily adjust it, but I guess they fear the game would die in a few months without doing so. And here I am also separated from all the american chapters, while having to do daily challenges of which one is DLC I don't have.
There is just too much wrong with this game.

insanely so.
get a 100% safe file and use it, will give a new life and fun to the game. honestly all the timewasted lvling and achievement bs that is 90%+ off all games now is just horridly bad and annoying to deal with... and most times once you reach endgame it just sucks, and so much time just wasted when that happens...

You can thank Saber for that. They absolutely refuse to listen to us and insist on doing things their way no matter what we ask of them. I can also agree that it sucks so many companies today love to pad their game time with senseless and meaningless grind or tedium. Once a person has ground 25-30 hours in this game, they've pretty well experienced the pace of progression for the rest of the time they play the game. It's actually gotten worse compared to what it used to be about four years ago. The weapon progression was also a lot more fun, but alas Saber took that away from us and replaced it with an overly simplified weapon progression system.

As for the DLC stuff - yeah, it's pretty lame. Saber went from charging for some cosmetic DLC to locking game content such as chapters and maps behind DLC now. Sure we can play with friends who own the DLC(s) maps, but that's only done that way to give us a taste of content with hope that we'll buy the DLC(s). Sort of like the carrot on a string kind of situation. I don't have that DLC chapter and I won't be buying it ever because Saber did a half ass job of it.

You're not wrong when you say there's too much wrong with the game. I could go on for a while about things that are broken, the poor and unbalanced progression, excessive grind, bugs, glitches, the dumb downing of things, crashes, constant lag, the cheaters and the list goes on and on, but I won't bore you to death with a massive text wall on the subject.

All I can tell you is that if you have experienced how things progress and you know how it all works, you might want to save yourself some time and use a full save to experience the game's peak fun spot, before you grind too much and get sick of it. The time it takes to unlock the top tier things that make the game more fun is beyond excessive.

One big problem with this game is Saber doesn't communicate with the community and listen to what we ask for to make the game a lot more fun for everyone. The other massive problem, is Saber is sucking all the fun out of the game by making bad decisions and producing a sloppy product.

Matthew Karch said he wanted Saber to focus on quality moreover quantity earlier this year back around April. Do you believe him?

I just got myself the saves and I can finally enjoy extreme difficulty again.
Saber truly knows how to make beautiful looking games but has no clue about long term fun. This is a joke. And you know what, since they wiped out the old saves for their new unlock system, I don't feel sorry for what I've done.
