Can't even start a character as the game crashes as soon as the loading bar is full..

hi people :) just wanted to ask if Mr Brevik abandoned the game now or is he planning on coming back? are there any information about it?

Back to ILB after 5 years. Rolled a new character since Patch 1.01.70 and spent 40 hours playing the game. I have encountered more and more issues as I progress with my new character till a point whereby this character is not playable. I have lost access to some of the key vendors (while other remain).
