The true value of this game is in its PvP multiplayer. I can say that you wouldn't get half of that fun, if you're going to play soloing only. It isn't worth to buy.

Fortunately, our PBS group has been continuing multiplayer matches. The members post streaming there when the multiplayer event is held. Try to check it out, if you don't mind.

The singleplayer is OK. The story isn't anything big, but it's still miles better than the mess that EV was. It does have some emotional moments that are done right ) Of course, it also has it's dumb moments. It's a small, fun game that you might enjoy. Although, I'd probably wait until it goes on sale, if I were you.

I bought the game on release to play multiplayer but have to say that I really enjoyed the singleplayer campaign. The matches are not too long so you can just hop on, read the dialog, do a little bit of water tagging and read the conclusion.
I love the quirky dialog and stupid jokes.
