It's a relief to know that as a result of the Resistance's hard work, you have managed to push back against the freakish monstrosities sent to end the world. You can be our wing folk any day!

HUGE thank you to everyone who has sent messages via our social pages, the forums and Discord with regards to bugs and suggestions. You've helped to make Zombie Army 4: Dead War the best undead experience yet!

Below are a list of fixes the development team have been working on. Again we really do appreciate your attentiveness. Slay on!

• The Death Collector medals now award correctly.
  
• The Chinese Characters Displayed as ? now display correctly.
  
• The Hell Base Progression Blocker has been addressed.
  
• Error code 12011 when trying to join each others lobbies has been resolved.
  
• Players unable to join friends lobbies (error 12011) and can now join peoples lobbies as normal.
  
• There are no longer excess timeouts seen in the live environment.
  
• In Graveyard Shift - 'People don't change. We go around in circles' now unlocks after 12 waves.
  
• Zombies no longer get stuck at bottom of Hell's Cauldron.
  
• Season 4 - Chapter 1 - Episode 1 - Path to Facility - The players character no longer fails to regroup on the elevator after triggering the 'Break into the Factory' objective.

Slayers assemble!

Hitler's undead reign has been ended by the very relic that gave him power. His hell-cult has been torn apart, and its occult mastermind, Baron Umbra, has been vanquished. Only one task remains.

Alpha Squad has just been set its final mission as they must descend further into hell to destroy Project Ragnarök and bring the nightmare to an end once and for all.

The new Ragnarök Campaign & Character Pack for Zombie Army 4: Dead War contains a 2-part campaign mission as well as new outfits for Karl, Marie and Josiah and is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Epic Games Store, Steam, Microsoft Store, Google Stadia as well as for the newly released Nintendo Switch version.

Additionally all Zombie Army 4 players will also receive the new “Death Collector” Horde Map free as part of a title update today.

Patch Notes:

Slayers, these are the following fixes that coincided with the latest ghoulish update.

1. Damnation Valley - Chapter 3 - Control Room Safe Room - Player no longer dies and re-spawns while mission is loading.
   
2. Occult Karl Outfit - All secondary and primary weapons no longer clip with the arms and shoulder and belt pouch of the Occult Karl Outfit.
   
3. Deeper than Hell - Chapter 4 (Mausoleum of Madness) - Challenge now awarded
   
4. Repeater Rifle visual bugs addressed.
   
5. Dead Zeppelin - Chapter 3 - Nightmare - Players are now able to enter the Zeppelin after clearing the horde
   
6. Stadia only - The application no longer crashes upon quitting the application while in multiplayer lobby.

We know that you have all been busy sending the undead back to where they came from. It’s encouraging to know that The Resistance comprises of some of the very best zombie obliterators in the business.

The Zombie Army team is delighted to see that the Community have been sinking their teeth into the Free Season One content, it’ll all be good practice for what’s to come…

For now, check out our latest fixes below which are applicable to all platforms and as usual, thank you to the entire slaying Community for your ongoing support and patience.

• Fixed an issue where players were being blocked from progressing by ‘Invisible Zombies’ which restricted movement.
  
• Zombies will no longer stay standing after dying.
  
• GUI - When muting a player in a multiplayer lobby, the player talking no longer overlaps the muted icon on the top right.
  
• When in lobby, Report and Block no longer become available on the local player's card, when they open and close another player's card from the friends overlay.
  
• Horde - Using the Shotgun Pistol "Brain Buster" in horde level will now kill zombies.
  
• The Elite Flamer explosion VFX is now present when blowing up the fuel tank.
  
• Single Player - The player is no longer able to set up a Nightmare enemy setup Horde game.
  
• Single player - Nick and Rochelle no longer have each other’s character ability's
  
• Fixed an occasional long standing crash that happens when using electrical weapons and grenades.
  
• Zombies now spin around NPCs when attempting to attack them.
  
• 2 Player – Mission 2: Venice - Chapter 3 - Parts of the Shadow Demon face no longer appear invisible during its cut scene.
  
• Single Player - Chapter 3 - Nightmare - The player is now able to enter the Zeppelin after clearing the horde.
  
• Mission 8: Hell Base - Nightmare - Chapter 2 - Factory Floor - Player Character is now able to progress further after killing all zombies in the area during the 'Kill the zombies to break the blood seal' objective.
  
• General bug fixes

As the end of 2021 approaches we have another update to enhance your zombie slaying experience. Thank you for your continued support this past year and for providing us with valuable feedback on your favourite zombie killing methods throughout Season 3.

To thank the community for their ongoing support and to ensure our players are able to master all weapons successfully, we’ve granted all players Level 50 and above 4 x Weapon Upgrade Kits to spend as they wish. For those looking to challenge themselves over the Christmas period, from this point onwards this reward will be available to all players once they’ve reached Level 50.

We’ve got an exciting year ahead of us with plenty of undead content to come, so stay tuned via our social channels for more in the New Year.
