state of game?

ive sat on the fence on this game for a while, and decided to ask the direct question.

is this game in a finished state thats enjoyable and is it considered to be completed ie no more updates?

ive seen that the dev is still active here and thats a good things but dont want to flush my cash into a beta sink hole like so many other inde games in steam

The game is finished, but I was never super happy with the end-result. I am currently working on Galactic Crew II. A Closed Alpha will start in less than a month for every owner of Galactic Crew. In addition, every owner of Galactic Crew will get a free copy of the successor game. However, you might want to wait until spring when the new game is released.

Hello! I published a sequel for Galactic Crew and everyone who had Galactic Crew at the time of release got the sequel for free. I was not fully satisfied how the first game was so every owner got the sequel for free. If you don't have it in your Steam library, please contact Steam support. The reason I took the first game off the store is that the sequel is better and bigger in every way than the first game and I did not want to confuse potential players what to buy.
